IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM KAREN DODD RE GLEN DODD FINANCIAL SERVICES, INC.

It is with extreme sadness that I must inform you that just less than a month after my husband, Glen Dodd’s death from cancer, our beloved partner, Mike Tsuboi, passed away suddenly on May 13^th. Obviously, this has left us all devastated. Some of you who have already heard of Glen and Mike’s passing, have sent kind condolences, which I’d like to acknowledge on behalf of both the Tsuboi family and mine.

Despite our grief, as you are a valued friend and client, it is of paramount concern that your financial needs and goals continue to be met, and that there be as little interruption as possible in taking care of and supporting you, now and for years to come.

With that in mind, it is my privilege to introduce you to Glen’s very good friend and respected colleague, Mike Mollica of MGM Financial. Mike has been a senior financial advisor for over twenty years, and I can tell you that his reputation in the industry is exemplary. Like Glen and Mike Tsuboi, Mike and his team operate a holistic independent financial services firm.  Glen, Mike and Mike were all associated with the same compliance back office, which means that the transition will be seamless.

I can tell you without reservation that Glen had an excellent relationship with Mike Mollica and I know he would give his blessing to him taking over our practice. Even as we’ve been working on this transition, Mike has followed up immediately with several clients who have reached out with time-sensitive needs, and I have one hundred percent confidence that he will continue to do so in serving you and your family.

While we all continue to process what has happened over the past weeks, I want to assure everyone that Mike Mollica and his team are here to help in any way they can. The business transition is in process and they’re hoping to have full access in the coming days.  We want to thank everyone for their patience as we all work through this together.

Mike Mollica was born and raised in the lower mainland of Vancouver, where he currently resides. He studied at BC Institute of Technology where he obtained a diploma in Corporate Finance.  He has also completed the following industry designations: the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), Certified Cash Flow Specialist(CCS) and Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) designations. Mike continues to develop his knowledge in all areas of finance through industry-related courses.
